-Month of teething! He has gotten 6 teeth this month, and they were his first teeth! Four on top, and 2 on the bottom. Ouch!
-He has started sharing things with me. Food, toys, etc. Its cute as long as it wasn't in his mouth right beforehand.
-He started liking mangos. Which is a big deal to me with how much I love them.
-Used a spoon successfully to feed himself
-Passed the mark of being outside of the womb longer than he was inside of it.
-He attempted to kiss one girl at a birthday party, but she was an older woman and was able to step back. He was aiming for her stomach anyway.
-He succeeded in kissing my friends daughter who is 6 weeks younger than him. He got her right on the lips too. Super cute. Later he pulled her hair, he is a baby after all...
-He started clapping, and gave his first high five.
-He is a cruiser now. Really good at pulling up to standing, transferring amongst furniture, and likes us to help him walk. He also squatted for the first time (no he wasn't pooping).
-He is a master at gleeking. Has a perfect stream.
Favorite Things:
-Still cats. We got to the pet store to look at the kittens at least once a week.
-Still books. He is getting good at turning the pages himself now though.
-Megan and Makenna. His first kiss was Megan, but I was able to leave and when I came back he didn't care because Makenna was there. Normally he charges for me and my boobs.
-Swimming, and sand
-Bananas, watermelon, fish, avocados, mangos, yogurt
-Stairs
-The bathroom
-Being naked
-Banging on stuff
-Waving
What he is like:
-He is such a teething champion! He has maintained a pretty happy attitude through the whole ordeal.
-He is very determined about everything. If he wants a book he won't let up until he gets it, etc. He gets so focused on stuff. I love his concentrated face. Too cute.
-He still loves to laugh. He is getting his own sense of humor, and finding new things funny.
-He gets so excited about things, like animals or other kids. But he gets shy when they get up close to him. I don't think he's had much opportunity to play with other kids since he's an only child.
-He has no fear of some things. Like swimming, or heights, or dogs, or the vacuum. But he is still scared to death of this bubble maker thing we got him. No idea why.
-He is able to learn things really well, and play games with us now. He is picking up words, and meaning of things so fast. He can wave hello when I just say "Say hi!" He knows when Brigham says bath time what that means, or when I put on my sunglasses that we are going outside. He is able to copy us pretty well. Which has let to some games of 'catch' with Brigham where he will throw the ball back to Brigham.
