9 Months

Milestones:

-Learned how to wave hello. It started out as a normal one handed wave to the librarian and all of the people coming to look at our apartment. Then it evolved into a two handed wave whenever he gets excited.
-Cut his first tooth. Bottom left. Top left came 2 days later. Poor kid.
-Pulls himself up to standing a lot.
-He has gotten fast crawling! Carpet in our new place helps cause he is not slipping all over.
-First trip to Hawaii- First time in the Ocean
-First time getting adored by Chinese Paparazzi. He got a taste of what his cousin Jonah experiences every day when a group of people from China thought he was such a spectacle and wanted to take pictures of him and with him. He loved it and waved and smiled at them. Funny.
-First time moving

Favorite Things-

-Cats. He loves actual cats, and loves it when we make a high pitched kitten noise
-Chickens- he loved chasing them in Hawaii.
-Animals in general. He is suddenly super interested in them.
-Books. He loves being read to.
-Crawling everywhere! He wants to be on the move all the time!
-Ice water- Helps his poor sore gums
-Broccoli, watermelon, yogurt, applesauce
-Walking up and down stairs- he still thinks its hilarious for some reason
-Sneezing- he laughs every time he sneezes
-Swimming
-The ocean
-Grandma and Grandpa
-Our friend Justina- I think he has a crush. He has never stared at anyone or been more obsessed with them
-Other kids
-Being tickled
-Bath time
-His Daddy
-Naked time

What he is like-

-He is understanding some words now. He knows Kitty, bath time, Dada, Mama, water, milk, and probably some other ones
-He is still so happy. We had a horrible flight delay that led to an 18 hour travel day to get to Hawaii. He did so well, and tried so hard to be happy through all of it. He smiles at people all of the time still, and laughs really easily. Especially with his Daddy.
-He is starting to get separation anxiety big time from me. He constantly crawls over to me and wants to be held.
-He loves adventures. He loved Kauai and doing new things every day. He gets bored easily so seeing new things was really fun for him.
- He is so curious about everything. If he sees something new he gets so excited to explore it. If I try to hide something he can tell and wants to know what it is. If he knows he can't have something it becomes the best object in the world to him....
-He is pretty persistent. He knows what he wants, and is starting to be able to let us know WHAT it is, not just that he wants something. Like what he wants at mealtime. Or that he doesn't want a diaper on... Or that he wants my camera during our photo shoot. He made this one pretty difficult!

I'm coming for you!

Daddy just turned on his phone for Wesley to try and keep him from getting my camera.
