-He has started throwing things like crazy. He can be entertained for a while by giving him a pile of stuff and he picks it up and throws it. Mainly throwing food at mealtimes though. Starting to need more patience with that now.
-He has been standing on his own for little bits of time. Mainly when he isn't thinking about it he will let go and stand there until he realizes he isn't holding on to anything. But he can squat and stand up and squat really well.
-He also peed standing up, with no diaper. Apparently that is a milestone per Brigham
-He is talking like crazy. Just talks and talks to everyone he sees. Gets super animated too. He mimics our intonations too. And I swear he has said words like cat, and dog. He was trying for fish too. Still mainly says Dada, Dad, and Mama.
-He is obsessed with opening and closing cupboards, drawers, and doors.
-He bottom right tooth came through- total teeth is 7 now.
-He went up and down stairs by himself while at church. First chance to ever try climbing stairs and he went right up, no problem.
-He learned to high five more consistently. Finally decided to work on it with him and he picked it up right away.
-He dances to music now
Favorite Things:
-He loves ceiling fans. At our new house we had some installed. When we get there he has to be taken from room to room to turn them all on. He laughs and points at them for a long time.
-Cats and dogs. He gets super excited when he sees dogs while on walks. Says Dog, and bounces like crazy in excitement. He loves his stuffed kitty too.
- He loves swings and slides. If we try to walk by the park and not go on the swing he throws a fit.
-He loves my sunglasses. He knows when I put them on we are going outside. But he also loves to wear them and thinks it is really funny.
-Bananas, noodles, yogurt, melons, corn on the cob
-Crawling everywhere. He doesn't want to be held anymore. Wiggles his way down so he can crawl.
-Books. Looking through them and pulling them off the shelf, and being read to.
-Pictures of us. He laughs and laughs at pictures of me or Brigham
-Carrying stuff around in his mouth while he is crawling.
What he is like:
-He is so fun. He has been laughing at random things, and making himself laugh a lot. He also likes to do this fake laugh that is basically him clearing his throat. I just have to laugh and he will start doing that. But he laughs for real a lot too. Like the other day in the car he was just laughing and laughing. When I stopped I looked around at him, he was flipping through this photo album I made for him with pictures of the 3 of us in it.
-He is also a little dictator. He points his hand where he wants to go, or at what he wants me to give him. The other day he had me feeding him oatmeal, and Brigham feeding him yogurt. He would point at which of us he wanted and we'd feed it to him. It is nice to be able to know what he wants more though.
-He knows what he needs more now. Like when he is tired he will 'ask' to go to bed sometimes. It is really weird to have him want that sometimes, and really nice. He is going to sleep a lot easier, but not staying asleep still.
-He throws his food out of his high chair constantly during a meal. If I give him lots of things he will clear off every bit of food but the piece he wants to eat right then. If I give him one at a time he will take one bite and then toss it. Drives me crazy.
-He has started cuddling things and us a lot. He will take a stuffed animals and hold them to his face and cuddle them on the floor. He also cuddles me and Brigham like that, or give us hugs.
-He also coos at his stuffed animals. When he sees his kitty he squeals at it, and does a high pitched cooing sound. Love it.
-He gets super focused on his toys. He has this super concentrated face while he is figuring stuff out.
-His routines are very important to him. If we try to deviate from them he definitely notices. Not looking forward to moving in a couple of weeks.
-He flirts like crazy with people that pay any attention to him. And he talks peoples ears off too. One store clerk said that he talked to her way more than any other customers. He's good at making friends.

| I love this sequence- Wesley is pulling the sign over to him, with the most innocent look on his face |

| This is just cool from a photography standpoint. One shot, and got it stop-motion with the blocks falling. |
