It appears someone tried to break into our house. Didn't do a very good job, and didn't succeed, but still... Where did we move to?
We called the police and they came and looked at it. Said they probably used a vice grip to try and break open the door. He said that usually it just breaks when they do that, but it didn't work this time. Thank goodness.
Still not excited about being home alone all day most days.

Yikes. That is really rather scary. So now do you feel like you need to back up your hard drive and hide that and your cool stuff (camera, etc.) somewhere really interesting in your house when you're gone? I'd definitely have pepper spray just for the fun and giggles of it (for when you're home alone).
