Tour of our House

Some people have been wanting to see what our new house looks like, so here is my picture tour of our current house.

The front: it is kind of a pink color, but we have our own house with no one sharing our walls. It is about 700 sq ft.

The front garden area. We cleared all of this out and planted some stuff. It took a while because most of the weeds were those obnoxious kind that have bulbs at the bottom. So to get them out was difficult. We planted some daisies, and a bunch of lilies and hyacinths I think. Also a couple of flowers that were already blooming. One has already completed its flowering cycle though.

This is how it used to look all over, so you can appreciate the work we did!

Here is one of the flowers that we planted. Pretty I think:

And we have our first Lily poking through the dirt already:

Our backyard with our storage shed that has saved us because our house is so small.

Our backyard has a ton of gravel all over everything, very ugly and not conducive to planting anything. We are attempting to clear an area so we can have a garden this year. It is rock almost the entire way down. Not fun. Any tips on how to remove that much gravel? This is what we have so far- we are going to mix in a lot of good soil to try and combat how bad the soil is back there!

We have a little area to park our cars, which is very nice!

We also have this enclosed porch area which will be perfect for a dog if we are able to get one.

Our front room:

Our second bedroom. We use it as a computer room. Notice the lovely green color of the walls. We are hoping to paint that this summer.

This is our dining area. We also love the pink wall, although hope to see it go soon.
The whole dining area, front room, and kitchen are one big area.

This is the kitchen, with the washer and dryer at the back. The ceiling becomes much shorter at the back, good thing neither of us are very tall! It is funny.

More of the kitchen, I wanted to show off our cupboards. Again, painting necessary.

This is our bedroom.

Here is our bathroom tour. There is wood paneling all over it, and it was even in the shower so they used boat paint to try and protect it. Not working too well as there is a crack in it that is letting water in. Glad we are just renting.

And this concludes the tour of our house.
